"For us this is a very important step towards the development of women’s football. Together with adidas we demonstrate that it develops not only in the US and Europe, but in Russia as well. Only a few years back, women had no space where they could play football, and no company to play with, but now such spaces started to appear. And we are happy to be a part of this process".
Alla Filina
Co-founder of GirlPower
"Women playing football are often told: 'Why are you doing this? Football is a men’s sport'.

For the past four years we’ve been showing that football is not a men’s sport, or a women’s sport, but is simply the best kind of sport. adidas x GirlPower new kit is another confirmation for this".
Sergey Shevyrev
Brand Director of adidas Russia
"We in adidas believe that creativity can change the game, life, and the world around us. In our partnership with GirlPower we demonstrate this in the context of women’s football. Sport has no boundaries or limitations, no stereotypes or prejudices. More and more women play football, and we are glad that we can contribute to this development by opening up sports spaces, supporting amateur clubs, and taking up joint projects".
